During a test, different variations of a webpage are compared against a base version (which is usually the control). The improvement or success of any variation is calculated in relation to the control. By changing the base for a test, you are changing the reference against which you would be comparing the success or failure of your variations.
Procedure
- Sign in to VWO, and then select the test for which you want to change the baseline.
- In the test details section, go to the REPORT tab.
- To use a variation as a baseline, click on the vertical ellipsis icon (⋮) corresponding to the variation, and select the option Use for calculations.
