Overview
VWO AI Chat is an AI-powered chat assistant inside the VWO platform that lets you query your A/B test campaigns, analyze results, and generate ideas in natural language. It acts as an intelligent interface between you and your campaign data, making it easier to discover insights, compare results, and plan next steps without manually navigating through reports
You need to use the ‘#’ key in the chat to point the chat assistant to a specific A/B test campaign. This helps the chat assistant answer any questions based on that campaign.
For example, you can prompt the AI chat as: "Show me the summary for #<campaign name>."

This query returns an overall summary of the A/B Test that includes variation details, traffic split, hypothesis, primary and secondary metrics, link to current reports, and much more.
The AI Chat assistant responds to natural language queries, making it easy to explore and act on your data without needing to navigate multiple reports.

How to Access VWO AI Chat?
To access the VWO AI Chat:
- Log in to the VWO dashboard.
- From the left navigation menu, select VWO Copilot.
- Use the input box to ask anything related to your campaign. Ensure you type the “#” key to select a specific campaign.
- You can also use the microphone to provide voice instructions. After entering your query, click the Send Message
button.
The chat assistant maintains a chat history. You can view and scroll through your past chats within the interface. This allows you to restart the conversation where you left off.

- Be Specific in Queries - Instead of asking, Show me results, ask, Compare desktop vs. mobile performance for the homepage CTA campaign. Precise prompts help with more accurate and valuable responses.
- Use Campaign Autocomplete (#) - Type # to quickly select campaign names instead of typing them manually. This helps avoid errors and ensures AI is analyzing the exact campaign.
