This article provides an overview of how previewing works in a Split URL test in VWO.
The preview workflow is consistent across all test types. However, in Split URL tests, each variation is hosted on a different URL, and previewing allows you to validate that the correct page version loads and behaves as expected before launching the campaign.
In Split URL tests, you can preview each variation URL individually to confirm:
- The correct page loads
- Redirect logic works as expected
- Query parameters are being passed successfully to the redirected URL
- Page elements and tracking behave correctly
