Enabling the Quin Integration for Your VWO Account

This integration allows you to target specific Quin audiences within your VWO A/B tests, leveraging Quin's predictive insights to optimize your campaigns.

Prerequisite:

  • You must have active accounts with both VWO and Quin.

Procedure:

1. Requesting API Key and Tenant ID from Quin

    1. Log in to your Quin account.
    2. Navigate to the Integrations section.
    3. Locate the VWO integration and click Add Integration.
    4. Go to the Settings tab.
    5. Click Request Settings.

2. Enable and Configure the Quin Integration in VWO

    1. In VWO, navigate to the Integrations section. 
    2. Search for Quin.
    3. Click on Click to connect. 
    4. Click Enable Now Once enabled, the Quin screen within the VWO’s Integration section looks like this:

       5. Obtain your API Key and Tenant ID from Quin.

       6. Enter the API Key and Tenant ID in the respective fields and Click on Save.

Targeting Quin Audiences in Your VWO Campaign

Once you've enabled and configured the Quin integration, you can start targeting Quin audiences in your VWO campaigns. This section guides you through the process of setting up audience targeting using Quin's predictive segments.

  1. Log in to your VWO account.
  2. Using the Testing section, create a test campaign.
  3. On the Configuration tab, click on Audience and Traffic.
  4. Under the Target Audience section, go to Custom Segment and create a segment using the Quin Audience to fetch the provided audience from your Quin account. Here's an example of how you can put this option to use.

NOTE: When you choose Quin Audience or Action as a targeting condition, we set the Poll Until setting to Custom Event by default, including a code snippet that waits 5 seconds for the “window.vwo_quin_common_data” to be available. The segmentation condition will not apply if this is not available within 5 seconds. This time interval can be modified (as per your requirements) in the code snippet highlighted in the screenshot below.

After setting up your Quin audience targeting, you can proceed with the rest of your campaign configuration. Remember to review your targeting conditions before launching your campaign to ensure proper audience segmentation.
